At the Life Science Center, there are two high-quality restaurants, The Plate and The Bowl.
Restaurants
At Life Science Center there are two high-quality restaurants The Plate and The Bowl. The Plate locates next to the main entrance and the Bowl is located in the new building, near the entrance next to the tram station. Restaurant and catering services are operated by Madeleine Ravintolat Oy.
The Plate
Lunch is served on a plate, which you can choose from “the sea” or “the farm”. Vegetarian option “the garden” is served in a hot buffet. Besides the warm main dish, lunch includes a fresh seasonal green table and a coffee or a tea.
Open on weekdays from 8.00-15.00.
Lunch from 10.45 – 13.30.
Morning porridge Mon-Fri 8.00 – 9.30.
The Bowl
Daily three lunch options available: Soup Bowl, Pasta Bowl or Asia Bowl. All Bowls include a small side salad, dessert and a coffee or a tea. In addition, you can build your own Salad Bowl from the salad bar – offering a wide selection of fresh greens and proteins. From the cafe you will find sweet & savoury pastries, snacks and refreshments to purchase. Grab your morning latte or afternoon cappuccino to go!

Conference Center
The conference center in the expansion section features 8 meeting rooms designed to accommodate diverse needs and provide a contemporary setting for meetings. In addition to the conference center, the current section of the facility offers four completely renovated and comfortable meeting rooms, as well as a 140-person auditorium.
The new conference center adopts a natural color palette throughout. The furniture and materials complement each other seamlessly. All meeting rooms are equipped with digital connectivity, high-quality displays, whiteboards, and adjustable surfaces. The furniture in the meeting rooms varies, ranging from traditional conference rooms to relaxed team rooms, round meeting rooms suitable for group work, and standing-height furnished standing meeting rooms.
Meeting refreshments can be ordered to the conference rooms or conveniently grabbed from the offerings of The Bowl lunch café.
The prices for the meeting rooms (VAT 0%) are indicated alongside each room. These prices are applicable for external users of LSC. Internal prices for tenants can be viewed upon logging into the Timeworks system used within LSC.
